Play Therapy
Kids process through doing, not telling. Play is where the real material surfaces — and where regulation skills get rehearsed safely.
Many of our therapists specialize in working with kids. The goal of the first session is simple — help your child feel at ease, so the work that follows feels less like therapy and more like spending time with someone who understands them.

Children today face alarmingly high rates of anxiety and depression. Most parents notice the shift before the child can name it — sleep gets uneven, school becomes harder, the small frustrations stop being small.
Our therapists work to put children at ease from the very first meeting. Most kids come to look forward to sessions once they know their therapist. We also work alongside parents to develop goals that support the child within the family — not apart from it.

Age-adapted CBT for anxiety, depression, and the looping thoughts that quietly run a kid's day.
When the system needs care, not just the child. Parents are partners — sometimes the work happens together.
An evidence-based, phased approach for kids who've been through something hard.
Simple, kid-sized practices for bringing the body back down from anxious to settled.
Practical structure for home and school — built with parents, not handed to them.
Parents and therapist meet to discuss the background and goals. Low-pressure — we talk about what's going on, and how we can help. We ask that children do not attend the initial appointment so that parents can talk openly about their concerns.
As the child comes into therapy, most of the early work moves through play, art, games, and story. We're learning your child while your child learns that this is a safe place to work through the hard stuff.
Sessions are centered around your child. We loop you in with regular parent check-ins and clear, plain-language updates on what's working and how to support your child's progress at home.
You know your child best and collaboration is important. We meet with parents regularly — short check-ins, practical tools, no guesswork. Our goal is for progress in the therapy room transfers to progress at home and school settings.
Most clinicians offer both in-person and telehealth. Our intake team matches you to the right therapist — you can re-match anytime.
If you're noticing something different in your child, and want a thoughtful place to start, we'd love to meet you and help sort it out together.
