About Hannah
Dr. Hannah Geiger enjoys working with children, adolescents, and young adults from a wide variety of backgrounds and presenting issues, including ADHD, anxiety, behavioral concerns, depression, emotion regulation, family changes, and trauma. She is passionate about incorporating each client’s unique interests and strengths into therapy through different modalities, including play, art, and movement. It is her utmost goal to help each person who enters her office feel heard and understood. Hannah enjoys collaborating with families, teachers, and other support systems to help children thrive in every environment. She works from a variety of evidence-based approaches including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance-and-commitment therapy (ACT), and family systems theory.
A Greater Cincinnati native, Hannah earned her master’s and doctoral degrees in Clinical Psychology from Xavier University. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at the University of Kentucky. She recently completed her pre-doctoral internship at Valley Oaks Health in Lafayette, Indiana, where she worked in a community mental health center providing therapy and psychological assessment services to children and their families. She has previously worked with children and adolescents at Central Clinic’s Child and Family Treatment Center, as well as with K-5th graders within Cincinnati Public Schools as part of TriHealth’s community partnership program.
Hannah is currently completing her post-doctoral internship at Viewpoint Psychological Services.
